Copy-Kids DVD {Review and Sponsor Spotlight}

Copy-Kids is designed for children six months to 5 years to encourage healthy fruit and vegetable eating habits. It includes 12 chapters focusing on: bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, avocado, tomatoes, broccoli, oranges, bananas, raspberries, strawberries, apples and blueberries.Copy-Kids Media sent us there DVD Copy Kids Eat Fruit and Vegetables. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical. In my head I thought, "My kids will watch this DVD and eat their fruits and vegetables...we'll see."I put the DVD in, sat back and observed. I was amazed at what I was witnessing. My children loved it! I could not believe how motionless they sat and how much laughter I heard. It is true kids love watching other kids do just about anything!
http://vimeo.com/24151268 Here is a link to the video.

The second part of my experiment came when my two and six year old daughters asked to try some red peppers in our refrigerator. The girls did not even want me to cut them up. My girls wanted to eat them whole just like you might eat an apple.It shocked me to find the girls not only eating the red peppers, but shrieking in delight at how delicious they were! Copy-Kids giving one of my readers a Copy-Kids DVD of their own in the Just for Baby Hop July 30-August 10.

Sprout Cream {Review and Sponsor Spotlight}

The Willow Store sent us Sprout Cream to review.  It seems that our two little girls are constantly suffering from diaper ailments of one sort or another.  Sprout Cream is the all-over ointment that works to heal and prevent diaper rash. We have been using it with every diaper change and have kept the red bottoms at bay.  Sprout Cream is great for use with any type of diapers, washes out easily, and won’t stain which are all very important features for any cloth diapering parent.
The first thing I did when we received the Sprout Cream was to read the ingredients.  It contains the following ingredients:
Ingredients:
Vegetable Glycerine
Cetearyl Glucoside/Phosphatidyl Choline
Silver Oxide and a dash of kindness

The 2 ounce container it comes in makes it extremely portable.  You can purchase you own Sprout Cream at the Willow Store for $9.95.  The Willow Store will be giving one lucky winner their very own container of Sprout Cream in the Just for Baby blog hop July 30th-August 10.

Thanksmama.com sent us the Fred's Swim Academy SwimTrainer "Classic" in Red, which is the stage 1 for 13-40 pounds.  It is designed to help little ones become comfortable in the water and teach them correct leg movements.  Prior to receiving this our toddler was using a boat like floaty which teaches her no swim movements at all.  We have been using this for about two weeks now and I love it!  Not only is she learning how to move her legs, she is becoming much more confident and comfortable.  We will definitely be buying the next stage of SwimTraining when she reaches 33 pounds.

ThanksMama.com is giving one of my readers a Fred's Swim Academy SwimTrainer of their own. a Rafflecopter giveaway

Potty Cover {Review and Sponsor Spotlight}

Potty Cover sent us 6 of their disposable Potty Cover.  We are a family of 7 that are constantly on the go.  We travel quite often for kids activities which some times leads to some unpleasant bathroom visits.  I am talking about porta potties or wayside rest stops.

Enter in the Potty Cover, a disposable toilet seat cover for children.  You simply place the Potty Cover on the toilet and it covers the sides and front of the toilet keeping germs and wetness at bay.  Each Potty Cover is individually packaged in a small bag portable enough for the diaper bag.

We took our Potty Cover on our latest hockey weekend.  We have a two year old dabbling in potty training so the Potty Cover arrived at a perfect time.  I love that it has a large front flap that prevents her legs and clothes from touching the toilet.  She is small and just learning to balance on the toilet, so the side flaps help keep her germ free.

Potty Cover will be giving away disposable toilet seat covers in Our Just for Baby Hop July 30-August 10.

Where do I store my cloth diapers? {Sponsor Spotlight}

I store my diapers in a Thirty-One Large Utility tote.  This tote is large enough to accommodate the majority of my cloth diapers and portable enough to take along or carry to another room if the need arises.  In addition, when I am done cloth diapering the Large Utility tote can be used in other areas of the house.  Thirty-one products come in a variety of fun prints sure to fit any decor.  Thirty-One consultant Lindsay Thompson will be giving away a Large Utility Tote in the Circle Spirals print  (the same print I own pictured here) in the Just for Baby Hop July 30-August 10.

the Plush Pad by Ah Goo Baby Review {Sponsor Spotlight}

We received the Plush Pad by Ah Goo Baby from Small Concept. I think it is my new go to baby gift. Seriously, where has this been all my life? It rolls up neatly to fit into the diaper bag. It is a plush body contouring memory foam mattress, so much nicer than the changing pads that come with diaper bags. This would fit great on a pack and play changer. Who needs a changing pad when you have the Plush Pad. We use it on the public restroom changers as I don't even want to think about what may be lurking on those. Then, when we get home from an outing we just throw it in the washing machine as it is machine washable. Small Concept will be giving away the Plush Pad in the Just for Baby Hop starting July 30th. *I was giving a product free of charge for the purpose of providing an honest review. All the opinions and thoughts are my own. I did not receive any monetary compensation for my review.

Rumparooz hanging wet bag review {Sponsor Spotlight}

Mama's Emporium sent us a Rumparooz Wet Bag.  My favorite part of the wet bag is the Kam snap handle.  I snap the handle onto many things.  At home it hangs from the towel bar in the bathroom and we toss dirty diapers into it there.  We have taken it on camping trips and hooked it onto the drawer pulls in the camper.  Also, I have brought it to the pool and hung it from the stroller there.

It is very versatile and portable.  It holds approximately 15 diapers and 15 inserts.  The Rumparooz wetbag is a half moon shape rather than a "traditional" envelope shape like most wet bags.  I believe that this allows for more diapers to fit into the wet bag volume wise.  I won't lie. I was expecting more of a hamper style bag, but because it is collapsable it allows the Rumparooz wet bag to travel easily.

A fun little fact about the Rumparooz wet bag is that it is biodegradable.  This means that with exception of the zipper and snap, the wet bag is biodegradable in 4 1/2-5 years.  The wet bag comes in many prints and colors. Mama's Emporium will be giving away a Rumparooz wet bag in the Just for Baby giveaway on our blog July 30-August 10th.

Budget-Friendly Family Vacation Lodging-Redweek.com Review and Giveaway

Wyndham TamarackLooking for an inexpensive lodging option for your family vacation?  Have you considered timeshare rental?  Timeshare rentals usually cost up to 50% less than a hotel room.

In addition, besides saving money on your lodging you will also be saving money on meals.  Most timeshare rentals have a full-sized, fully equipped kitchen.

The kids generally love the swimming pools at hotels.  With a timeshare rental you will often get more entertainment value than just the pool.  Many timeshare rentals have water parks, hot tubs, kiddie pools, playgrounds, arcades and mini golf.

Timeshares become available for rental when timeshare owners are unable to use their timeshare weeks.  Renting out their timeshares are great option for the owners and and an even better bargain for the renter who can afford to rent at a luxury resort.

RedWeek.com is basically an online marketing site, with over 1.5 million members, where owners list their timeshares for rent. A RedWeek.com membership gives access to all of the information on timeshare rental listings on RedWeek.com, including reviews, and the ability to engage in rental agreements with incredible budget-friendly offerings.  On RedWeek.com you are able to search listings by "Kid Friendly" or "Pet Friendly", as well as specialty destinations such as "Golf" or "Beaches.
