Day #5 found Elvis, our Elf on the Shelf, had hidden coins in some "fake" snow aka baby cereal. So each child got 1 minute to dig up as many as they could find.

Elf on the Shelf Day #4 #Elfontheshelf
On Day 4 Elvis made the kids a breakfast fit for Santa. The breakfast included waffles smoothered in syrup and topped with candy canes. It is apparently a staple for breakfast at the North Pole. Needless to say, the kids are big fans!
Elf on the Shelf: Day #3 #Elfontheshelf
On day 3 Elvis was found outside on a chair, on our porch, surrounded by notepads and pencils. His note said that we were to attend Child #1's Orchestra's Concert and Child #1 was to put on a great performance. The other 3 children attending the concert were instructed to take notes or draw pictures of what they saw and/or heard. Elvis wanted them all to fill him in since he was unable to attend the concert himself. Child #2 was attending a goalie skills clinic during the same time as the concert, so Elvis asked child #2 to write down and the things he learned when he returned home.

Elf on the Shelf Day 2, #Elfonashelf
Day #2 Found Elvis in the bathroom hanging out on the toilet :P. He left the movie Brave and some Beary special fruit snacks to eat while watching the movie. He, also, told the kids to watch for the Bear's bare booty. Elvis apparently finds that part very funny!
Elf on Shelf Day #1 #Elfonashelf
Our Elf is named Elvis and he is Elf #255. He has been assigned to our family to keep tabs on the children and report back to Santa. He told the kids that they would never know where he might be and what he may be up to. He told them he would keep them on their toes! He left them each a chocolate advent calendar. I long dated tradition in our household!
