Sidewalk Chalk Paint Tutorial

This summer enjoy some frugal fun by making your own sidewalk chalk.

Ingredients you will need: Cornstarch 
                                            Water
                                            Food Coloring
                                            Storage Containers
                                            Paint Brushes

 Step 1:  Scoop 1/4 cup of cornstarch into your storage container.

 Step 2: Measure 1/4 cup water.

 Step 3: Combine cornstarch and water.

 Step 4. Squeeze in a few drops of food coloring.

 Step 5: Mix in the food coloring.

Enjoy painting with friends

 Your paint may dry up into a chalky substance during storage.  If this is the case, you just need to add a little water to your container before you use it.
